I have had my caliper upside down for a few years now and after a recent MOT failure I realised that the rear brakes were not working. I have bled them by turning the calipers round and then refitting them. My question is that whilst I am happy there is no air in the system will the handbrake adjusters work ok this way?

Hi all mk indy cars have the rear calliper like yours
I have just re-rewed my brake fluid and had to turn the calliper up side down

The way i set my brakes up is
remove the hand brake cable
remove calliper turn over bleed
refit calliper then fit a 10mm spanner on the bracket were the cable fits and pump it to adjust the calliper for the hand brake
refit cable

Jacko can you explain a little bit more about what you mean when you pump the caliper to adjust the handbrake?

I was led to believe this wan non-adjustable, so pumping the pedal will put the pads up to the disc, and then the handbrake will apply the pads from there, and that's all you need to do?

If you remove the pads and pump the hand brake lever with a spanner the plunger works its way out to get it back in you have to twist/ turn the plunger clock wise
The hand brake lever works a worm that adjust the hand brake mechanisn
you must remove the cable first
