Yet another M/C question, sorry
marcjagman - 20/9/10 at 09:11 PM

I will be running a bike engine in my car and have been reading some old questions and answers on brake M/C, the question is this, will one from a Fiat 124 be suitable with a regulator valve? I wont be having a servo, any other recommendations welcome.

The 124 MC is certainly suitable for use without a servo (I have one on my Indy). I can't see why using a regulator valve with it would be any different to any other MC.

Was thinking of rear brake effort that's all, do I need one? or will one pipe split do for the rears?

The 124 MC is a tandem one with split circuit for the front brakes and single for the rears [like the Sierra MC].

Brake balance on mine is fine without a regulator.
