How bleed wilwood brakes?
nib1980 - 17/4/11 at 02:01 PM

Hi

Anyone got any tips for bleeding 4 pot wilwood callipers?

I just can't seem to get a good solid feel to the pedal.

Many thanks

Neil

I opened the bleeders and let them gravity bleed first, shutting the nipples as fluid came through. Then I just bled them one at a time in the normal manual way, starting with the closest to the master and working around to the furthest. On each caliper I did the inner nipple first then the outer and then re-checked the inner.

If you've got twin masters/balance bar you might have to do one front and one rear together as the balance bar can lock and prevent full movement on just one cylinder.

Good pedal now? Don't worry, we've all missed something "obvious" befroe.
