
I currently use 13x7 et5 wheels from a 2.8 capri, with all 205/60 tyres
I dont really like the wheels but they do the job, plus the tyres are really to wide for a lightish 7, the current setup is also very wheel and tyre
heavy!
First question, is, the front wheels and tyres fit exactly were i want them to be, (13x7 et5) but the rears, need a 1" spacer for them to fill
out the rear arches, so, what would be the wheels offset with out the spacer ? ie 13x7 et ??
This would meen haveing two different wheels front to back
I would also like to downgrade the tyres to around 195/60 and possibly 195/50, would the downgrade in tyre from a 60 to a 50 make much difference in
my speedo reading? if so read high or lower

i got some 5 1/2 X13 and 5 1/2 X14 alleycats if yr interested
if you have et5 and a 25mm/1 inch spacer i believe you would need et -20 (negative offset) not sure if thats easily availabe. and a narrower tyre with
lower profile will make the speedo over read slightly.
not 100% sure on the wheels ET but sure i will be corrected if im wrong

My wheels are -7 offset and I still have a set of custom made 20mm hubcentric spacers on my capri axled +442. I can't remember ever seeing an higher neg offset wheel before.
A bit of clarification......
Sierra offset is around 38mm ET, this means the middle of the wheel is 38mm further in towards the body then the hub face
0 ET means the hub face is at the same relative point as the middle of the wheel measured front to back rim
-7 ET plus 1" spacer means the wheel centre is now 32.4 mm from the hub face towards the outside of the car
For front wheels this offset could cause problems as it will change the geometry as set by the hubs.
Just add a bit more confusion wider wheels can change offset, if you want the weeks further out adding 1" to the width adds 1/2" either side
of the centre line.
