Can't get the little varmints out, any ideas?

I use a ball joint splitter to press them out.

Do you mean removing a stud from the hub (separate stud and wheel nut )or are you trying
to get a wheel off that is held on with modern type threaded studs/bolts ?

Stud from hub and the big hammer did work
