I'd like to keep salt, grit and water out of the 4 rod end bearings on my rear suspension. Something like a steering rack bellows would do this a
treat, stick a bit of oil in, tighten up with tiewraps.
Is there anything out there I should know about?
I want fit & forget, minimal maintenance.

Yeah mate, but me clevis is a close fit on the ball - I need sommat to go right round the lot! - more of a bag than a boot; I think a wee steering

Those Sealit washers are absolutely useless. Fine dirt does get past them and then it is captive and grinds away at the bearing.
What you are talking about are genuine rod end boots that encompass the whole end, but do not include washers. Rose (as in Rose joints) are the only
manufacturer I know of who supply them. They are not very popular because they do not work either. If you use Teflon lined rod ends they are self
sealing and the Teflon acts like a wiper on the ball. Nothing is totally grit proof but the Teflon lined ones will outlast any metal to metal joints
in a dirty situation. The bronze lined reo ends require oil/grease to lubricate them which attracts dirt and acts like grinding paste. Teflon lined
bearings should not be lubricated.
RESB and ABC sell the boots.
I have also tried filling the boots with silicon grease in the past and this seems to help.
