As above really and it comes with a sticking point when in the central position.
I'm pretty sure it's in the column and not any of the other joints. It oes have a modified boss o fit a lotus wheel.
Any ideas?

have you ruled out an issue with the rack?

Well I'm going purely on feel at the moment and I've convinced myself it's the column. I will disconnect the two over the weekend and see it still does it. I wont be happy if it's the rack as it was new, not recon etc.
Any suggestions on alternative columns. Preferably adjustable?

Have you checked that nothing is catching on the column or joints?

I have. It's just started so I've looked to see if anything has moved or come loose.

Indicator cam ?

I'm not sure if it's still in there but I will check. Didn't think of that one. Ta
