My Sierra Master cylinder was the only part of the braking system I didn't replace. It's of course now leaking.
If I'm changing it I'm thinking I might as well go for the smaller bore Fiesta Mk1. Does anyone know if the Sierra reservoir is a straight
fit onto the Fiesta one?

I don't know that.
I do know the Nissan Stanza at 13/16" works well and comes with a reservoir.

Cheers lads. What I meant though was will the Sierra reservoir fit into the holes on the Fiesta master cylinder. Or do I need to buy a Fiesta reservoir as well as cylinder
Mine came with a new reservoir, but I put the Sierra one on it to keep the level switch.
It fitted into the holes exactly.

Bought a Fiesta Mk1 19mm cylinder. Can anyone confirm for me that the front brakes come off the holes nearest the pedal box ie the rear holes.
Yes."P" primary to the front, "S" Secondary to the rear
And another question. Anyone know the thread pitch of the 12mm outlet? Seems even smaller pitch than metric fine.

I got a bleed nipple from local motor factors.
Worked fine.

While people are on the subject (sorry if I am hijacking) - can someone explain why there are so many inlets and outlets on car m/c's?
Used to bikes, where it's one of each - and yet to get one for the MK, so happy to take advice on what to get - I'll probably be using
Wilwood powerlites up front and std drums on the back (at first anyway).
Cheers!
