I'm looking to match my trailer wheels with the tow car as I have a spare set with pretty good rubber and it saves having an extra spare wheel on the trailer.

Standard trailer 4 stud to VAG 112 5 bolt.

Anyone know somewhere that sells such adaptors off the shelf or would I have to get something custom made

I presume that in Germany everything would need to be TUV approved!

Would car tyres be correctly rated for trailer use?

I'm with British forces there so I don't strictly come under TUV rules with GB vehicle. Someone did suggest I shouldn't use car tyres but the trailer wheel loading is much lower then the car (4 wheel).
