stopping brake disc from rusting

Any tips like covering them with plastic bag?

My lovely new vented discs are rusting on the inside, the outer side is protected by the alloy wheel.

Hi, I had the same problem during my build.

I stuffed a load of bubble wrap in the wheel and that stopped it.

Just kept the moist air from circulating around the nice clean disk.

You can coat them like they do to transport them but remember to clean em off before using.

If its during build or storage a light coating of spray paint does the trick, then just wipe surface with thinners when your ready to use again

As above for winter storage just a mist coat of zinc primer. The paint coat can be so thin you can still see the steel shining through and it will still protect the steel.
The other thing is don't put the car into storage immediately after washing it, give it a short drive and warm up the brakes to dry them.
