Evening guys
Bought what was meant to be an MK Indy, but upon buying semi adjustable rear lower wishbones to find they are massively incorrect.
if anyone could help identify the original arms would be a great help as I'm struggling to find any manufactures specs online.
Thanks in advance

Welcome.
Perhaps you should post a picture of the chassis if ther is som uncertainty of “supposed to be” an MK CHASSIS.
Many unknown cars/ chassis are advertised as MK!
Its something - the images don't work in your post so I can't see I'm afraid. Having built an MK Indy a few years back I'm familiar with that chassis and wishbones so may be able to help identify if that's what you have.
Thanks Reman an Nick205 wasn't sure if they worked or not. Have now updated them.
i suspect if it is an MK its an early chassis.
My MK Indy was 2003/4 and didn't look like that. Certainly my rear wishbones were different.
They look similar to some luego ones I bought to modify, think I still have them somewhere so if you measure them up in could check for you.
I'm still trying to convince myself it is MK thougthere a few bits (modifications exception) that i'm not sure on.
Whats happening with the diff? :-)
on 1st view i thought: thats not an MK
Nothing like my 2000 chassis. It does look like a Stewart Taylor in some respects?
Those rear hub carriers are distinctive if not custom?
Diff mount looks very Haynes roadster.
Can you post a picture of the front chassis up to the where your feet go and confirm it's year of registration.
Suspect it's a chassis that started as one thing and got modified, perhaps by adding irs from the Haynes roadster. I guess measurements of the
wishbones may help price this theory.
On phone hence difficultly viewing.
Front looks like a book locost. Mk did make these originally but with a live or de-dion rear.
Start Taylor / aries did book loousts but with narrowed it's rears. So can you measure your drive shafts or take a picture of your rear wheel
arch. Stuart Taylor arches look different to mk.
I had an MK indi and it literally bore no resemblance to what I see below -

I have no idea what you have...
I’ve still got one
Details I thought were never MK are hub carriers, squared off wishbone mounts, that double tube seat let top mount, the headlamp brackets and the
difff mount. Any of which could have been modified over the years it’s still difficult to tell from some of the photos
Front looks very close to GTS no idea on rear.

That doesn't look like my Indy chassis I'm afraid.
Where did you buy the wishbones from? I'd quite like a set of those.
David
what does the plate attached to chassis in your third pic say?

Thanks guys for all your input, have come to conclusion its a factory built locost chassis but by whom probably never to know.
DavidW the new ones are from MK sports cars which they now have back in stock .
As they took them back and are modifying the original ones.
Reman diff inspection to confirm ratio, which is next going to try find a ford 7.5 diff 3.64 ratio which could prove difficult.
unfortunately car isn't road registered and chassis plate is meaningless I believe.
