used a cortina rear axle, (8" brakes) can't as yet locate a handbrake cable, all you boffins out there know of another that may fit, i need to use the proper one-ish cos i welded brackets onto the chassis to suit the adjuster bit on the old cable off the doner, i could use that one but it looks a "bit rough" to say the least.......

You might be in luck,i have a cortina MK5 handbrake cable as newish hanging in the garage doing nout!.
