Help for a beginner, please!
I've got some issues around running gear:
1. I can't seem to find any uprights that are ready to take dual wishbones - breakers that I have dealt with are claiming that Sierras, among
others, have McPherson struts. Does the larger bore hole on the upper part of the upright make it impossible to use these hubs?
2. Or is there an insert to ready these uprights for an upper ball joint?
I've looked at raceleda to get some idea of cost for the cortina-type uprights / hubs / which I can't find for love nor money.
Advice appreciated.

Hi there,
Welcome to the fold.
You are right with point 2 - there are inserts available for Mac Strut type from uprights - most commonly used in place of the cortina ones which, as
you say, are getting rare (apparently) are the Sierra ones like mine.
This is lovely shot of my uprights in beautiful Red with insert at the top from MNR - mnrltd.co.uk and Maxi lower balljoint - upright needs reaming
out to accept maxi taper.
Hope that helps, - good luck with the build!
