do I need high tensile bolts for the suspension components like the wishbones to chassis and dampers to chassis?

8.8 Minimum is recomended.

will depend on the chassis ie what size the bracket holes are drilled to which should in turn be to suit the size on your shocks and wishbone bushes/crush tubes...

Mine are 12mm.

Probably either 12mm or 1/2"

The minimum size to use in critical areas is 8mm.

Mine are 12mm
