Hi guys,

The steering rack from my capri donor has a long Gear pinion (8" ) this means the flexible coupling is behind the FU chassis rails. The biggest problem with this is due to the angle that the pinion comes out of the steering rack. A shorter pinion would enable me to put a ujoint in sooner.

Does anybody know if an escort pinion fits on the capri rack? or have any other suggestions
