Can i use the Cortina hubs without the back plate or is it a necessity?

I don't think it serves much more purpose than to stop brake dust from getting into the engine bay. I think we are just going to bin ours.

I agree....will be binning mine, they look poo (plus the extra weight would slow me down ha ha)

Another 'agree' Sierra hubs don't have any!

Some bloke at work has sold me a set hubs, bearing carriers and calipers. He said since the back plate is damaged he only wants £20 for the lot. Bargain

We forked out for a whole cortina to get the front bits (they can go for way over £100). Will use other bits off it too though, and hopefully get some dosh for the back axle.
