I've been offered two versions from my local supplier either soft or medium compound, what are most people running?

They are priced at 60+vat for medium and 66+vat for soft fitted and balanced is this a good/average/poor deal?

Mark

Sorry size is 195 50 15

Good deal! I went for soft (not super soft).

What size?

the medium compound is fine, the soft compound, in my opinion, is not really suitable for long term road use, it was primarily designed as a sprint tyre

Medium compound should be fine and that's a very good price! I paid £260 fitted/balanced etc and I thought that was the cheapest I'd heard of!

Have you tried C&S Motorsport in Middlesbrough?

Cheapest when I bought mine.

I regularly use the medium compound on the road and track. I just give time to warm up in the cold n wet.

Just searched on this.

Do they have any markings to say soft or medium compound?
