how many turns lock-to-lock is the standard mk1/mk2 escort?

is it enough to warrant a quick rack?

not sure but it might be 2.9 turns compared with 2.4 for a quick rack.

IIRC it's 3.5, the first of the quick racks is 2.9 then 2.4, 2.2, 1.7, i think thats about it.

I've got a quick rack sitting here on the bedroom floor (and has been for a good 2 yrs ) and the other day when I was 3D modelling it I noted roughly 2.5 turns lock to lock so 2.4 is probably the "official" figure.
