MK9R - 3/7/08 at 07:11 AM

I remember years ago i had a brochure of exhaust parts so you could build you own exhaust out of induvidual parts, they actually had the induvidual parts to build you own end can, i.e. end caps, baffles etc. BUt i've lost the brochure and cannot remember the name of them. Can any on help???

Nice one!! Not the comapny i was thinking of, but still good. The company i was thinking about supplied parts that didn't need welding together, the end plates had flanges so you could bolt/rivet the can together.

Spoke to JIm at www.2bular.com, he made an exhaust for my elise which was awesome. He is really well respected on the lotus forums and his stuff is great quality, trouble is i reckon i'm looking at £350 again!

These guys will make a 5" box up to my desired length and inlet size for £175. He reckons they have no problem with noise for trackdays due to their "rifled" pipe??

You can buy a lot of bends, pipe, boxes etc in either aluminised or S/S direct from Jetex.

..................been here, done this, rung them all and thought they were ALL a rip off!!! (Milner being the exception but their main market is off road and v8's so not the ideal bits for what I needed)

I used the people that SUPPLY MILNER!!!

I have posted it on here till I'm blue in the face but nobody seems to have tried them for some strange reason.

They also supply westfield's race systems.

SDW Light Fabrications linky

I bought enough stainless bends (all cnc mandrel bent to order in front of me) and tube to make TWO complete 4-2-1 mnaifolds, using 1.75", 2" and 2.5" 304 stainless tubing, for £200 cash, with tons of bends to spare (to give you an idea, I think I had around 16 x 1.75" bends with 7" tails, as well as many other angles in both 2" and 1.75"

cannot recommend them enough.

Don't be put off by the fancy looking website, their workshop is true brilliance, with engines and blocks and heads littering the place, as jigs for building turbo manifolds, and they are dead friendly and respond to the "cash" word.
