The Granada BJ hole is different from the Sierra? Weird...
If you've definately tried all the Astra options then AFAIK all you've got open to you is to pay someone like Luego or MK to bore the hole
out to fit a Cortina one.
Or, you could of course get hold of a tapered drill bit and build a jig and do it yourself!
MK did mine for £7 per side.
Bearing in mind that the Granada uprights are 5 stud (so you'll have difficulty buying nice alloys- if you're into that) and that Sierra
equivalents are so cheap is it worth the effort?

if u use a granny ghia you get 15 alloys + a twin cam engine , remote gear linkage and an irs

Well, they certainly are lovely alloys! And from what people on here have said it's an engine to look out for.
As regards the IRS- bear in mind the Granada track is 1" wider than the Sierra.
All in all I wish I'd used a Granada myself!
Cheers,
James
