Does anyone on here re-trim steering wheels? I cave a nice alloy wheel but the leather rim is poor, and I'd like it a bit thicker.
Google search brings a few trimmers up, but would like reccomendations.....
simply fit one of these covers over it and you will have nice warm hands while driving.
I wanted to do the same... but was quoted £180 for a basic job.... I just bought a different steering wheel for half the price.... It must be a fidly job covering a steering wheel!

Iv been wanting to get my tintop's wheel re-trimmed but looking at the prices you guys have been quoted, i think il stick with the one iv got for now.
Thanks guys, I feared that might be the case.....
I'll go with Mr W's method providing I can get matching gearlever, handbrake, and pedal covers..
