thin foam padding on GRP seats

I've seen thin foam padding on GRP seats. What kind of foam is this and where can I get some?

I used 3mm stuff that I got from an auto jumble, but you can get it from Woolies

It rovided a very slight amount of padding, but was mainly useful for stopping you sliding down the seat under braking (something the SVA guy was very impressed with, eventhough it's real reason fir being there was to cover up a nasty scrape on the drivers seat from dropping a tool on it)

Just put on a bit of weight, it will go straight to your bottom.
Job done and Locost.
Of course you will have to lighten the car by the same amount

Ive put a layer 4mm high density neoprene on my seat, bought in sheets from a member on here. I would like to be able to take it all off again and do a run without once more to compair, but its certainly not made it any worse and is worth it for the grip. Which if nothing else reduces the tendency to slouch which very much does hurt after a while.

I think im going to get some 1inch open cell foam to go to nurburg on tho.
