Hi Guys,
A very quick question, its probably been mentioned but i'm not quite sure what to serach for so appologies...
I am in the process of completing my dash and have mounted my warning lights (brake fluid, handbrake etc) behind where the indicator stalk goes
(Doh)
If you look at my pic the cut out is for the shroud and then the left stalk from a mk3 fiesta sits in front of those lights.
is that acceptable for the IVA?
If someone could point me in the direction to a guide for dash that would be helpful.
thanks in advance
Not to discourage you any further, but to avoid aggravation later, do consider that square cutouts in Fiberglass are more prone to develop cracks than rounded ones.
really
I've got my fibreglass kit out on it already to make some mounts in the back to hold my clocks, do you think its wise to toughen up those corners
while i'm at it?
Reinforcing the corners would improve.
How wide is the gap around the steering wheel shroud?
Maybe also increasing it a few mm to allow a radius to be filed at the corners
dremmel with sanding drum attachment to round the corners out should do.
back to the question though, there's a link to download the manual at the bottom of all my posts, couldn't find anything specific, but there
is something about making it clear what they're for. i think though, the only thing that MUST be in clear view is the speedo
Nice curve underneath. Did you do that yourself? I am making another dash and need the same effect...
