Thinking of putting a small lockable glovebox on the passenger side of the dash as I have acres of empty space. If anyone has done something similar I
would be interesting in seeing how you have done it and in particular how you have fitted the door/hinges to allow it to open.
Cheers
Dave
My Locost had a lockable box in the passenger footwell , with a nice angle on the front to make a footrest.

I fitted a drop down door using ally tubing as a hinge, more photos in my archive;

OOOOPS! Sorry about the image size, I thought the forum code automatically reduced them?

40inches! That is the best glovebox I have seen on a homemade dash. I have been struggling with getting the shut lines right on mine for ages.
