What kind of sealant ?
mcerd1 - 13/5/16 at 12:27 PM

I've got a bit of a water leak in the boot of the tin-top and some panels to fix on the interior of the dax that need sealed with something that fairly easy to remove later (ie. not PU adhesive) but something a bit better than bathroom silicon would be nice

Anyone got an recommendations ?

Im a big fan of Dow Corning, very good sealant.

I like loctite 595 silicone, you can buy it in small 40ml tubes or full 330ml cartridges

There's only one sealant that anyone needs, the marine industry stays afloat on it.

PU. Sticks better than the proverbial to a blanket. Cleans up with white spirit or turps.

Available at Toolstation as Puraflex 40.
