trimming
Ian D - 7/6/07 at 05:51 PM

Anyone know where I can get some plastic J shapped trim to hide the edge of my carpet.

Needs to be around 3mm internal diameter with say 20mm for the long side.

Thanks

Ian

I don't know whereabouts you are, but I have recommended these before, mainly because they are local to me, but also because they are very good trimmers, have loads of stock and are well priced!

Oh and if you aren't local, they post stuff!

B&Q have got a range of alloy 'hockey stick' shapes and angles, step edging etc - they have sorted me out on a number of occasions

Ive tried B&Q, like you they have been really useful but I cant find what I need to trim the carpet.

Thanks all for your tips.

Hi Ian,
When I made carpets for my cobra I took them to a local trimmer and he stitched some edging tape around the edges for me. Just a thought.
