Go-Kart seats in your locost?

Go-Kart seats in a locost....

Good idea? Bad idea?

They seem very cheap and are obviously light weight.

If you fit in them (not a given, XL in a kart seat is not XL as the rest of the word understands it ) they're a decent enough idea. DO try sitting in one before you buy it though!

I believe that Coose has a set of Kirkley seats in his Striker. I think that is because the chassis is so narrow though.

I think its a good idea but might need to consider some kind of head or back rest if you are going to do and length of journey.

I used to race karts - wouldn't fancy driving any distance in them.

They are not built for comfort!

Most karting seats seem to have a much greater 'lay back' angle so you must try a few out and see how you like them. Tillet do quite a range - some car seats too iirc.
