how to mount bucket seats
trogdor - 17/1/08 at 10:24 AM

Hi,

i have recently brought a pair of bucket seats to fit in my daily runner 106. They look terrably chav, but am hoping they will help my back problems i get when driving this car.

Anyway the seat runners can be bolted to the floor of the car but i will be about 4cm too low. Is there anyway to raise the seat simply? i was going to use metal box section to raise the seat up but i doubt i will get any that is 4cm across.

any help would be appreciated

wood spacers used to be very common, no seriously and actually works perfectly well. People are too high tech these days.

bolt them to the floor and chuck a sofa cushion on top
