Not so sure about the fuel tank position, though I guess MSVA allows it, IVA wouldn't (you need a bulkhead between tank and engine bay).

I don't think the fuel tank will be an issue as some trikes just have half a motorbike stuffed up the rear complete with the tank.
I will have to do some searching of the msva docs.
The side bodywork is as you say easy, but the upper front and the rear is giving me food for thought .

I have made the wheel base as short as I could while keeping the peddle box behind the front axle.
I have seen some American reverse trikes with the drivers feet being the first point of contact in a bump
So the wheelbase is 2.8 mtrs while the track is 1.65mtr.
My stuart taylor locost is 2.4 with the track 1.5.

Just trying to work out my proportions of track to wheelbase, at the moment I'm thinking of 1.5 track and 2.54 wheelbase, but it looks quite stumpy. I think I will just use some scrap box section to set it at that and then drag it outside to look at the basic proportions

Well here is a sort of update on the Tri-Pod1 (as it is known...?).

Dash mould done, both side pods and front clip moulds and panels done, engine cover (looking slimmer and more in proportion since pics taken the other day) plug nearly done. Reverse gear mech designed and parts ordered. All sorts of minor BS that takes ages...done!

Only 1 million minor tasks left.

Aiming at registration this year at the latest. I would like to think it will be on the road well before the end of the year as I now have a mate helping me as we are both sick of it not moving along.

Further updates in a month or so. (At which time it should be in primer and on the cusp of being put back together.
