Hi all,

I bought the Triton Challenger from MArk at Triton and just passed SVA and now registered. Done 200 miles on road since! Pics at www.tnanet.com/challenger/challenger.htm
Car was completly rewired and made SVAable. It was the car with monshock rear and TIG welded chassis, inboard front sus and rose jointed etc..

so was this the previous demonstrator? and i'm guessinghte first sva'd example! did you have trouble with the front headlight height or any other bits at sva that might be of interest to potential builders (ie how you overcame them?!)

SVA notables :

General / Body
Headlight height fine but if no covers fitted then watch out for projections on headlights!
Indicator height fine.
Need side repeaters. Get stick-on ones that fall off outside the SVA centre!
Ensure that steering max lock does not let wheels hit body work.
Worth blocking up the bonnet vent (rear) just for noise test.
If you fit a digidash, mount it on the transmission tunnel under dash and anged towards driver. Can not get the SPHERE in there for projections.
Pannel under the whole engine bay if you can as makes it a lot easier for SVA man!
Steering column, if you use a QR wheel like me then make sure you have a good deflection angle on the linkages.
Body, they loved the shape and the curves and covered front wheels eliminated the need for any suspension nut covers.
do not fit any fly screen or screen (no need for wipers etc).
Needs 2 wing mirrors and a rear view mirroe. I used Yamaha R1 wing mirrors.
Fog light, you can fit this to the bracket that holds the rear body on, it just gets away with it.
Use stick on reflectors at rear.
Don't forget big penny washers on underside seat mount points!
Seatbelt mounts were fine.
On the whole the SVA people were impressed.

Pics, if they pop up small then put cursor over them and bottom right there should be a little graphic that suddenly pops up too. Click this and presto they go big.

Or simply right click on the link and select save rather than view.

Anyone wants any particular image then I can oblige. If anyone wants to come have a nose then fine come along, no problem.

Has anyone got light covers sorted???

for ours we were going 2 see if we could find some crashed motorbikes and see what the screens are like of them

other option is to make a former and heat some perspex or something in the oven to shape them. there was a thread on this in the mid engine section i think..

Question:

I don't see any anti-roll bar at the rear...what is there to control roll?
