FS: SVA Friendly 1.8 Zetec Engine
coozer - 4/12/08 at 01:44 PM

Just testing the water really....

I am possibly going to be selling the zetec I built my car with. It is a 1994 1.8. I can include the Ford letter for SVA as well. Good clean condition, mileage unknown.

It has a raceline water rail fitted and I will hand over a brand new cambelt kit as well.

2.0L cams fitted.

Spigot bearing installed, coil pack and nearly new plugs but no inlet or exhaust.

I'll chuck my alternator mount in as well.

On the RR it chucked out 155bhp with ZX9R carbs.

I'm looking for £200 as thats what I paid for it without the add ons.

Am I being optimistic???

Steve

A raceline water rail kit is nigh on £200, a cambelt kit the top side of £30, cams go for £30 upwards, plus bits and bobs, you're effectively giving the engine away.

A little bargain for someone IMO.

Bargain!!

Was that power at the flywheel or wheels bud?

Flywheel bhp. 120 at the wheels.

I am rather tempted by this, the trouble is you're a bit far away from me.

I'm really interested in this, I'm just trying to work out a way of getting in home.

I'd come and pick it up immediatly, why oh why do I live in Holland

Hmm, if I had a little garage space and a lot of guts I'd be interested in swapping my xflow for a zetec!
I'll keep an eye on the fs section once I have a garage again!

why dont you split it I paid £80 for a 1.8 mileage unknown, the water rail kit is not always needed in a seven I think the Escort boys use it, you may be able to get nearer or above the £200 mark. Is the engine standard ie not 2litre cams

What are you doing with the carbs ?? and manifold ?
