Seat Leon Cupra R(260hp) 2003
tegwin - 14/8/09 at 09:01 AM

I bought this car a few weeks ago with the intention of selling my polo and using the Cupra as my daily car.

Since buying it my job position has dramatically changed and I think I will be going back to university to do a degree.... so all of my toys are going to be sold to pay for it

Really sucks, Was planning a trip down to the alps in this car.

2003 Seat Leon Cupra R

Work done very recently: (all receipts and paperwork included)

4 new goodyear eagle F1 asimetric tyres
4 wheel aligmnet done (with print outs)
Cambelt and metal waterpump replaced.
4 new coilpacks fitted.
New dual mass clutch and slave cylinder fitted
Scanned with Vagcom today and no faults found
New seals recently fitted to the front doors to stop the dreaded Seat leak.

Upgrades:
Custom code remap to 260hp (this is a nice progressive map that allows sensible economical driving)
Green panel air filter (new standard filter included)
Piper catback stainless exhaust system (perfect noise without being unrealistically loud.)
HID xenon headlight conversion kit fitted with Balasts.
Forge adjustable quickshift (gives a nice tight gear change) [standard linkage is included if you prefer]
Upgraded dump valve (does not make any noise, but can cope with the higher boost of the remap)

General:
For a 6 year old car the condition is fantastic inside and outside. The splitter (as on all cupra Rs) is very well scuffed thanks to my driveway. However, a brand new splitter IS included for you to fit once the car is off my driveway!

Looking for £6900 O.N.O

Stunning cars, excellent price too.

Good buy for someone at that. Have you advertised on seatcupra.net?

tegwin - 14/8/09 at 11:01 AM

I have submitted an advert on seatcupra.net,but you have to have been a member for 12 months and have 50 posts.... I am only half way there on both counts so I suspect it will be declined..

Its on PH though!

Its a bugger really... its such a nice car, but my old polo GTI is so much cheaper to run and insure if you drive carefully... it makes no sence to keep an expensive(ish) car when money is going to be tight, might as well spend a few quid on the polo to make it perfect, and then save the rest for the future....

Need to find a uni course
