FS: Part Built Dax Rush

*********APRIL FOOL**********

Hi guys,

Due to financial concerns with going back to university in September (don't get any funding for my second degree ) I'm putting my Dax up for sale.

Short Wheel Base Dax Rush
C20XE fitted
Type 9 box
3.62 lsd
zx9r carbs / bogg manifold
custom s/s exhaust
twin m/c pedal box
sierra disc brakes all round
Triton bucket seats
Full set of smiths gauges + bright-6
momo steering wheel
TSW alloys

You are buying a part built, all the grunt work has been done, engine is fully fitted from cooling system to clutch cable. Brakes have just been bleed and the car can (and has been) driven.

Everything is included to finish the car apart from the rear lights. To get the kit on the road for summer you would simply have to fit the rest of the body work and wire in some rear lights.

Bought back in 2008 as a part built for £5000, looking for £6000 now considering the cost of new parts bought NOT taking into account the labour I've put in.

I know its not "cheap" but this represents a cost saving of a few thousand from a similar Dax bought direct. I am open to offers and would consider a p/x for a saxo vtr or low mileage 306 D-Turbo.

Cheers

I've been looking forward to seeing yours finished

Sorry to hear that, good luck.

That's an arse, you were doing so well with it too

Still, the longer term planning will pay off I'm sure - good luck!

Your course starts in September right? That gives you 8 months to finish the car, IVA it, and sell it for a lot more than you will get as a part built. Plus you'll get the satisfaction of finishing it and maybe even driving it for a few weeks.

Just my 2p.

HA! Good, I don't mind being got with that one if it means you are continuing with it!.......besides, it's a bit of payback anyway, I've spent all morning winding collegues up...even the new ones!
