thought i`d let some people know that my neigubour is getting rid of an old xr2 on a C reg which his wife has owned since new and it has only done over 40k miles, it is all original but the body is not that great at front(so he says) but the engine and gear box is good working order, got about 2 months M.O.T left on it,it can be driven away its all in working order, if anyone is interested just let me know and i`ll take some pics and what ever else!!!

Might be interested for the engine... any idea what they might want for it?

I recently got rid of mine, a complete shed, for £100 and thought I had done OK.
Following week it sold on ebay for £250. It was a total fixer upper.

Any old Ford seems to be of interest, with mk1 & 2 Escort prices way beyond the reach of many I suppose they're looking for an alternative for their old Ford fix.
