I originally bought this as a donor for my plans to build a Road Runner Racing sr2, but my plans have now changed.
I've run this car through the summer and have spent a small fortune on it.
The good points:
1990 Eunos Roadster in silver
1.6 long nose engine (great oil pressure and revs to 7k with lots of power) done 76k
LSD
Air con
Light brown (camel coloured) hood
Face-off Sony stereo with uprated speakers
Remote boot release
11 months MOT
Sills and chassis are spot on.
Cone filter
Cam belt done @ 68k
Within the last 8 weeks :
*New oil (synthetic), filter and plug
*New gearbox and diff oil with new plugs
*New battery
*New upper and lower gear shift boots
*New lower ball joints
*New track rod ends
*New upper ball joint covers
*New front drop links
*New rear calipers
*New rear discs (drilled and grooved) and EBC pads - upgraded to 255mm discs
The discs and calipers have less than 100 miles on them
Car starts first time every time and pulls like a train. No mechanical issues.
The bad points:
*The hood has a couple of tears (small ones) in it by the B pillars. It's not stopped me using the car (I just covered the damage with some tank
tape)
*The boot is going to need a respray
*There is a small crease on front n/s wing
*Area of paint-peel at very top of passenger door (about 10cm x 1cm)
*Small area of paint bubbling on corner of front o/s wing (4cm x 4cm)
*A few scratches and dings as you'd expect on a 20 year-old car
The car is based in the North West (CW2 5AN). I'm looking for £850
It's not perfect but is a cracking car for the money and is mechanically spot on; I've spent upwards of £800 on it in the last couple of
months so someone will get a great deal!
Drive it or use it as a donor, either way it's got a lot going for it.
