Ok many thanks for the info . Unfortunately I'm after a spline type.

I think you will find it very hard to get a push in type LSD.

I am after such a beast and believe the only ones around will be aftermarket type such as the Quaife ATB's.

I am trying to justify to myself the cost of buying one and really can not, but Burton Power are cheaper then going direct for new.

Apparently you can mod the drive shafts (or a certain type) that take tri-pod ends to fit lobro parts.

Think it is the 108mm ones. Basically you seem to be able to keep the drum brake set-up and the outer part of the shafts but the inners are converted to lobro and then you use the 108mm 7 inch LSD.

Hope that it makes sense.

The diff is not for me I was asking for a friend who has the spline type. We have asked about converting diff outputs but were let to believe it couldn't be done. If this is not the case and you have some more info on it it would be a big help.

As you said the spine type appear to be as rare as rocking horse shite

you can't use the std sierra LSD with push-in shafts (the splines need to be unequal lengths)
but you can convert a open sierra push-in diff using an aftermarket one

the other option is to use the bolt-on diff with either hybrid shafts or change the hubs to bolt-on aswell

I converted my push in shafts to inner CV joints no probs.
Kept the rear drum set up but with the standard lsd.
Was a straight swap (lobros for CVs)
