Hi all,
Before swmbo and I decided to up sticks and move down under, we thought we'd build a camper, so we bought a Transit and a load of bits, and
set-to...
The result is on PH
linky
All the details are on there, but it's a SWB low roof, which means you can get it in and out of normal car parks. It's been re-registered
with the DVLA as a motor caravan, it's got a moveable / removeable rock n roll beds with 2 seatbelts fitted, gas hob, sink, cold water tank,
Eberspacher diesel air heater, side windows, roof vent, fully insultated and with vapour barrier fitted, 2x 100Ah leisure batteries, with a split
charge relay so they charge when the van's running, and a battery charger for when it's hooked up. 12v lighting and mood lighting, 230v
sockets and an inverter fittted. Got a towbar fitted as well.
£8800, the van's based in Swindon - feel free to fire me any questions...
Cheers
Vince
