Alternator parts
JeffJeffers - 18/5/13 at 11:34 AM

Few parts I no longer need after moving the location of my alternator.

I have a tiger alternator bracket for a Zetec. I had to drill an extra hole in one of the brackets to get it to fit the black top. It is used with a LRA100 alternator.

I also found another alternator. Not sure what it is from but if anyone can make use of it.

Lucus alternator and bracket sold.

Magneti Marelli alternator still available.

Out of interest, were the brackets designed for the alternator to go low down on the exhust side or high up on the intake side?

This isn't a picture of my car but here is where it fits.

if you make the two bolt holes into slotes....
you can use it to tension the belt.

Certainly an option, but very little way of apply force to tension it unlike the leverage of sticking a bar behind the alternator gives!

The pulley was off a Mercedes van. I have just had a quick look for the part number but can't find it.
Best thing to do is give Tiger a call.
