Very sorry the chap has passed away and it looks a stunning car but the colour .............. why???

ashg - 26/6/13 at 06:15 PM

That is very cheap at the moment. May have a cheeky bid hopefully the reserve will be sensible.

Hellfire - 26/6/13 at 06:17 PM

I think the colour is great! Especially with the black wheels. Makes a nice change from the usual red and yellows. Looks like a quality build. Very sad that the builder/owner passed away.............

Looks super-classy in BRG. The car itself screams loud enough without being dressed in shell-suit colours.

tomgregory2000 - 26/6/13 at 07:37 PM

Nice car

Wrong colour

GeoffT - 26/6/13 at 08:25 PM

It's obviously a Marmite colour - I love it, really classy...

Agreed, I like it. Maybe a yellow stripe would break up the lines.

As to why, well it is British
Italian cars - red
German cars - silver
French cars - blue
British cars - green

It's the law https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_international_auto_racing_colors

I like it too, obviously not seen it in the flesh, but it looks to be a colour that is 'quite near to being black, but more interesting' I think a dark navy would work too.

Hmm agreed but on classic British cars not on an ultima. Lovely car but wrong colour for me. It has absolutely nothing todo with the fact the only 2 cars I have ever had a bump in were BRG

Massively sad the builder never got to really enjoy his efforts

Peteff - 27/6/13 at 07:57 AM

We like it too...

snakebelly - 27/6/13 at 10:32 AM

Agree with a couple of posters, mice to see one that isnt red or yellow, looks nice and understated

jeffw - 27/6/13 at 11:14 AM

two yellow stripes and a yellow mouth would complete the look...

whitestu - 27/6/13 at 02:07 PM

That is so nice! And it has a roof so you can drive it in England!
