Westfield RGB Race Car

I am offering for sale, one of the most well known RGB race cars on the circuit. This car has been run by three different racers over a 6 season period, has had over 100K spent on it over the years, however did not run in the 2012 season as rule & regulation changes required a different engine and the previous owner had other plans. I acquired the car last August and proceeded to completely rebuild the car from the ground up at AB Performance, ready for this current season, in which I am running it. The following is a list of items which were installed, suffice to say well over 20k invested in getting the car to this level.....

Engine Bay:

New '09 Honda CBR 1000RR – c/w Standard ECU, rolling road fuel mapping by Daytuner.

AB Performance Billet Sump & oil pick up

AB Performance water pump delete kit

IRC unit

AB Performance air filter

Bespoke airbox

AB Performance bespoke top/bottom engine frame (keeping weight as low as possible)

Power commander 5 (fuel mapping)

Remote electric water pump

JCC oil catch tank

AB Performance billet oil take off

26 row mocal oil cooler with braided lines

New AB Performance Exhaust System

New slipper clutch.

Fueling:

Sytec High pressure fuel pump

Sytec fuel pressure regulator

Sytec fuel filter

2L merlin motorsport swirl pot

New fuel lines

Facet low pressure fuel pump

Handling:

Protech double adjustable dampers front/rear

200lb 8” front springs

150lb 7” rear springs

Procomp bespoke front Anti Roll Bar

4 x 13” CXR Wheels c/w good Yokohama A048’s

4 pot AP racing Brakes (F) Sierra (R) & Pads

Interior:

Bespoke Carbon dash

Carbon tunnel

Carbon side panels

Digidash Lite 2

New switches inc. FIA

Flappy Paddle gear change

New Lifeline Zero 2000 Fire Extinguisher & Cables

MOMO Steering Wheel

Clutch & Throttle cables

The car has a ducted front end which helps to keep the hot air out of the bonnet area, full under-tray, and has been completely rewired. A new bonnet was developed raising the V8 bonnet bulge by 2” to keep the fuel rail of the 1000RR engine under wraps and looks completely as Mr. Westfield designed.

The package also includes many spare parts such as nose cone, steering rack, prop, cycle wings (various), Front wish bones etc. etc.

This car has been rebuilt with no expense spared and is a ready to go Race Car. If you have a race license or have your ARDS test completed, you can be racing this car in RGB, or use as a track day car. I will just say though, I have done track days with this car and it is blisteringly fast to the point of being the fastest thing on the track usually, so you have to watch the closing rates with the usual type of cars found at these events like the old Jap barges such as Nissan Gtr's , 911's, Supra's etc. etc...I would be happy to help the new owner on a track day to understand how to drive a really sorted bike engined car if they have not driven one before as they do tend to scare the c**p out of you the first time you put the right foot down, but there's really nothing else like screaming down the straight, coming down 3 or 4 gears using the slipper clutch technology, and powering through and out of the corners with your hair on fire!

Remember this is a fully sorted race ready car, which you could never build to this level for the asking price. So grab yourself a bargain now. The reason for the sale is because I am building a new car for next season and need the funds to put into it. I will consider any sensible offers but don't be wasting my time & yours with stupid ones!

I’m looking for £12.5K complete with engine installed in the car. If you want to know more, you can call me on 07906 358217.

I have over 100 pictures of the car / rebuild & racing so feel free to ask if you would like to see more of something.

Thanks

I could have sworn that this was put up for sale just a few weeks back? Why the sudden sale again?
