My Locost project did not really get started, I had a mostly built chassis from another abandoned project and the donor of a 2 litre pinto engined Transit!

As my project is dead in the water due to time and money, I am selling the rebuilt pinto engine with a 205 block.

The vast majority of the consumable components have been replaced:-

New pistons and rings (0.5mm oversize) with the block bored to suit.
Shortened sump and oil pickup.
New crank bearings.
New camshaft bearings.
Head rebuilt with new valve stem seals and valves lapped in.
New spray bar.
New valve rockers.
Camshaft from a reconditioned engine.
All new gaskets.
Lots of new bolts inside and out.


It has not been run since the rebuild and it will need a new cambelt before running up, then the head bolts torqueing to the second stage.

I am asking £250, cash on collection from North Kent.
