hi all
very shortly , ie: in the next 3-4 weeks
I am going to sell my myford super seven lathe complete with lots of bits
ie
3 jaw
4 jaw
face plate
travel steady
milling cross slide attachment
spare gears inc metric thread ( I think never used it )
and loads more .

anyone interested and as soon as I get my act together ill u2u all those interested with pics ect

thinking circa £1200 but may be open to an offer

reason for sale just brought a larger Harrison lathe

I'll move the dining room table over a little to make space, not to far though as you wont be able to get your legs in to sit down!

easy yes !

ideal for cutting the turkey
you could also turn threads on carrots ect.
just tell the good lady its a fancy French table - ooo la la.
all the rage on the continent luv , we are the first to have one in the uk.

actually that's not true.
I have a mate who has a full if little machine shop in what was his dinning room.

funny though his wife left him many years ago ! no idea why

You could throw a ham shank on there and spend your days making delicious swarf...

Lathe turned ham sounds good. I have a shaping machine that's good for pulled pork

That brings back college memories...not used one (or seen one) in 25 years. Used it at college, but got a b0ll0king because the tool hit the vice (not the work piece) and trashed the tool.
