Cheap car, Even Cheaper to run. Hyundai i10 LPG £2500
russbost - 22/2/23 at 12:50 PM

My daughter is selling her Hyundai i10 Edition, see pics, 2010, '60 plate 5 door manual, 1.1 with LPG conversion, I think factory fitted, but not certain on that, ULEZ compliant, £30 a year road tax, low insurance, absolutely ideal as first car.
It's got 145k on the clock with service history, so about average for the age, had a cambelt around 18 months 15,000 miles ago, so no worries there.

Being the Edition it has extras like remote central locking, alloy wheels, nicer trim, fog lights, reversing sensors etc. Mot to July 23, no advisories, & it's had 2 new front tyres & a battery recently, plus it has the LPG conversion which, given that it only sips fuel in the first place with LPG at around 99p/litre if you're anywhere near a stockist makes it stupidly cheap to run. Uses no oil or water, no leaks, knocks funny noises & is HPI clear

Only things I'm aware of that are wrong with it, air con doesn't work, didn't when she bought it, she's been told there's a broken pipe, I've never investigated as she hates a/c anyway & would rather drive with the window open!

The reverse sensors sometimes play up with random sensing of stuff that's not there, again, I've not investigated, only other thing I can criticize being really picky is that for a small car the clutch seems a little heavy it's never let her down & has been a great little car, only reason for sale is she's having our 2013 i10 off us. She's looking for £2500 or a very close offer for the car, you're unlikely to find another with the LPG conversion! Still using it at present, will be SORN from the end of the month. Collection from Benfleet Essex, around 20 mins from M25 Dartford crossing QE2 bridge

Edited to add, if you want to talk about the car, call me on 07914 258651, no point in talking to her, she knows as much about cars as I do about millinery!

looks a good car for someone, (but not for me as I already have enough cars)

I see it's london ulex compliant - which is a big plus

can you clarify, would it also run on standard petrol ?

Yes, automatically switches from one to the other

Correction to first post, it's actually just £20 a year road tax, not £30!

Hey Russ, thanks for your time on the phone, my mate actually has to travel with work for a couple of weeks so will get in touch when he's back, but for now if anyone else is interested then feel free to carry on with them, don't want to block if you have a buyer before him!

BTTT!

Hi Adam, Thanks for the update - really not desperate to sell the car & trying to avoid the inevitable idiots if i put it on Ebay, by all means give me a shout when he's ready, I'd much rather see it go to someone that will get some sensible use out of it rather than someone that will destroy it!

If I sell in the meantime I'll update this post

Ok, still not even been viewed so I can only guess it's too dear, hence price drop to £2195, given the prices I see other absolute junk being sold for I can't believe no one wants this!
