Cash waiting for a type 9 TranX or Quaife box.

Would consider 4 speed.

Budget of 4-5 hundred quid.

Be amazed if you find something for that money, i've been on the search for 3months and cheapest i've seen is £800... and thats with steel casing.

you might find it easier to get a decent spec'd BGH one second hand for that kind of money......

I too am on the hunt and kicking myself for not buying the one that went for 450 on lcb earlier this year. Good luck with the hunt!

Typical... I had one for sale last year at £450 and there were no takers on here! Ended up selling to a local lad.

Bought my last 2 boxes for 400 and 475 quid, just a keen eye is needed

Ive just paid K&N Transmission near Preston £600 for a second hand 4 speed Rocket box with a Tranx kit in it thats been fully rebuilt. Be very careful what you buy. Lots of worn out/damaged gearbox's out there with strange ratio's waiting to catch people out.
Good hunting but be very careful.
