Without doubt interspersed with club penguin ,moshi monsters and copious other games sites and itv player stuff +plus they use them at her next school that she will be at in september so thought it would be good to get a head start.

And a BIG bill for Daddy when she uses these 'free' games

Don’t do it just don’t they are rubbish over priced bits of jewellery, never been an Apple fan but bought the wife one thinking ‘its user friendly’ and she hates it even browsing the web is tedious.

Little bit of Google and you can find a better alternative for a 3rd of the price, only down side it's like when you used to ask your dad to park round the corner from the school when he picked you up in case the kids saw the car he drives. (In my case a bright Orange Original mini estate)

Hmm, ask here what format her homework needs to be done in. I suspect Word.....may be an issue.
If the school is apple based (some round here doing that, I suspect money is changing hands) they will get one free or cheap to use.

I'm Still hunting a cheapy ipad 1.

They're useless for homework, can't use word processor can't print without buying an AirPrint printer! You'd be better with a cheap laptop or notepad thingy magigy.
