anybody knows where one of those sylva´s is for sale?
here a pic how the clubman looks like:
I know someone who has one but it isn't for sale as far as I know. It is the only one I know of or have ever seen.
Isn't the "Mk4 Clubman" essentially the same car as the Phoenix?
yes, the mk4 clubman is similar the phoenix, but with a bonnet incl. a spoiler, outboard suspension using vauxhall uprights.
but this thread shouldnt be about searching a MK4 clubman.
anyway....watching some pictures at google.....a MK4 clubman would be also interesting.
so...lets extend this thread to:
searching a sylva striker clubman (preference) or as alternative a MK4 Clubman.

As per Jeff's much earlier reply, there were only ever a handful built with this bodywork (though more than one; at least three, one of which was
yellow and had a Mazda Rotary engine). You will be extremely lucky to find one.
If you want one that badly the answer would be to make moulds for the bodywork yourself; the bonnet and the bodywork from the rear arches backward are
basically standard Striker, so it wouldn't be a big deal to modify the rear bodywork on a standard car to create a facsimile.
If it's the bodystyle you like, you may also wish to consider the quite similar-looking Tiger Aviator:
i know this car ...the tiger aviator has copied JP´s design (imo)
unfortunatley such a newish tiger is too "new" for re-registering over here....thanks for the idea, but i need to stay with a sylva.
i would appreciate if somebody could point out the direction where to search...or who might own one of those rare cars.

i know the chances are next to nil...but as i want an original car, with a matching chassis-number, modifying a striker isnt the solution.

"....I've seldom known any car owner who can't be persuaded to part with their vehicle for the right money, and presumably if
you're a connoisseur of such particular requirements, you're willing to pay the price..."
correct...but as you said...its not a bugatti where people might pay any price!!
Then it might have been wise not to state on a public forum how specific and demanding your requirements are.
where else than in a sylva-forum, should i search for such a car?
as said, i´m interested in a car like that..but not under any circumstances or any price or right now....i have plenty of time.
i still can sleep well without such a car in my garage....
