WTD sierra rack and coupling to steering column

Hi I am after a steering rack , non power steering , also the coupling that joins it to the steering column

Anyone got one gathering dust ?

Hi

I am not sure why you want sierra rack, but you be better off to use rack form Escort MK1 as this is much better for self centring. I have heard of cars failing IVA because they did not have this!

Mk Indys use sierra racks that's why I need one.

I built a Mk indy r in 2010 and had no trouble through Iva with self centring

I know I have a rack, but not sure about the link, that may have been sold with the column.

The Escort mk1 rack is not suitable I think you mean't Escort Mk2 which could be fitted if the mounts are altered.

The type of rack has no real effect on self centerings a way, in excess friction is down rack damper adjustment or in shortened racks improper alignment when welding the rack back together.
