Anyone have one, or know of one for sale?

I have not even driven the car yet with it installed, so cant compare it to the old SCCR type 9. but am losing interest in the car

How much do they go for? Also are they any good for the road or is it more suited to the track?

Ratios are very close- 2.69/2.01/1.59/1.32/1.13/1.00.

Sqeezes six gears in to less space than the first four of a long first type 9, 1.0 top gear is the same as a four speed. May need a 3.54 or 3.38 rear diff depending if you are english or sierra.

I think it was designed for the lower powered k series s3 originally and apparently one of the best mods available on the wee caterham!

femster87 - 14/11/14 at 11:26 PM

Dropped my diff to a 3.62 from 3.9

How strong are the Caterham boxes? Does anyone know if they will do 260hp/185ftlb?

mackei23b - 15/11/14 at 06:53 PM

There used in the factory built CSR, they have 260bhp Duratecs.
