It would appear that the temp sensor for my Vapor digi-dash has failed. My multimeter show it open circuit and there's no obvious damage to the cable.
The easiest way would be to buy a new Trail Tech unit http://www.trailtechproducts.co.uk/acatalog/Temperature_Sensors.html
but I don't like to pay £28!!
Any cheaper places to buy or anyone got an alternative solution?!
