Having looked into both I would say the Raptor is a lot better than the Cartek solution (RF verses IR). I had the previous version of the Raptor (only 4 buttons) but wanted 8 so sold it on and invested in a QR steering wheel mount with electrical connections instead as it worked out cheaper (and obviously not ever going to be jammed like an RF system could be)

I have a Raptor and despite not using it on the road yet its was supper easy to set up, and has worked great while testing.
